Are you ready?

I haven't been able to update lately because of my busy schedule and the fact that my internet is so bad at my apartment, it takes about an hour to upload 3 pictures. So I'm taking advantage of Man-Cub's internet to fill you in on the last 3 weeks or so. So I hope you're ready for this information dump.

I'm loving my internship this semester and currently hoping to be hired at the location. I've also realized that December will be here very soon and I haven't began applying anywhere. Therefore, the job search is full on and my resume is in the process of updating while I learn how to write a cover letter. But with my internship keeping my Mondays and Tuesdays full, I've had to learn some good pick-me-ups. And luckily now it's fall, I was able to experience my first ever pumpkin spice latte. And it was wonderful! Polly (my car) and I have bonded a lot this semester with all our travel time so she enjoyed having the smell of fall in her as well.

A couple of weekends ago, Man-Cub and I went with some friends to the first CSU home football game. We lost horribly, but afterwards, we went with the roommate and his girlfriend to dinner and used our dessert coupons at the chocolate cafe.It was delicious and I don't even like chocolate...

A couple weeks later, Man-Cub took me to sushi for the first time. I don't like fish, so it was quite the challenge, but it wasn't horrible. And either way, it looked AWESOME.

We've hung out a lot at the apartment, and Chill has loved having us all there. The roommate even drew a family picture and made sure to included her...and her poop piles.

I've learned that living with more roommates, that aren't like you, can be frustrating at times.

And mom came to visit last weekend! She brought one of her friends from work and one of my friends who graduated last year came up from Denver as well. It was a great girls night out, plus Man-Cub.

And now we're back to football season, every Sunday looks a little like this while Chill and I snooze on our couch.

So that's been life lately! Hopefully I'll get some updates sooner so it's not such an information dump next time.

i felt like a kid again

Yes. I am doing two posts in one night. I'm not home very often so I thought I'd take advantage.

Last weekend was the Tour de Fat!!! Because Man-Cub likes riding his bike so much, I thought I would take my bike up to Fort Collins this semester. And last weekend, I was so very glad I had! Tour de Fat is almost like a city holiday in Fort Collins. New Belgium brewery hosts it and it's basically just a big party. There is lots of beer, some free concerts, food vendors, and some crazy events you can participate in, but the main event is the bike parade! Everyone dresses up in crazy costumes to ride their bikes around town. Although the parade takes place all around the country, Fort Collins always has the biggest turn out. This year, they were going for breaking the world record! We were not prepared for how many people there would be, and I was not prepared to have that much fun. :) It was crazy. Half the city seemed to be in the parade and the other half seemed to be on the side watching. SO. MUCH. FUN.

Seriously one of the best days!!

it's pink

So I started school last week. It was my last first day of school and it was BEAUtiful. Not only the weather, but the fact that it was my last first day of school.

I started my big kid internship (which I love) and even got to look all official.

Then I made it back to Greeley and realized I wasn't the only one lacking some school spirit...really McDonalds? Fort Collins and Boulder, but not the school in your own city?!

Then I got to my apartment. I think in an earlier post, I mentioned it was pink. Just in case you didn't understand...

I think Beast likes the new set up though. He looks pretty awesome when my lamp is on.

But due to my busy schedule, lack of kitchen/fridge space, and major senioritis, I didn't feel like putting much effort into my first dinner here. Looking like a senior! Or maybe just a bachelor...

I have been eating healthier since. Trust me. It did NOT look that yummy cooked...

Oh, and my Sign Language class is pretty awesome, but I think this is my favorite classroom. :)
