Found this baby in the depths of my blog from 2010...thought I'd give it a try instead of trying to sum up my year. Here's to a new year with new opportunities.
1. What did you do in 2014 that you'd never done before? Tried paddle boarding.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't make New Year's resolutions...
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes...a lovely new addition to the Bhatt family...again
4. Did anyone close to you die? No
5. What countries did you visit? I stayed in the US, but visited Tennessee and California.
6. What would you like to have in 2015 that you lacked in 2014? Friends and a real job.
7. What dates from 2014 will remain etched upon your memory? April 18th, when I left my first big girl job for new adventures.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Becoming a head coach.
9. What was your biggest failure? Poor choice of friends.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My puppy.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? I don't like this question.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My friends that were a poor choice.
14. Where did most of your money go? Student loans followed by my puppy.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My puppy.
16. What song/album will always remind you of 2014? Sam Smith "In The Lonely Hour", Nico & Vinz "Am I Wrong"

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Meet people and laugh.

20. How will you be spending Christmas of 2015? Mexico?

23. How did you start 2014? Downtown Denver watching fireworks.
24. What was your favorite TV program? Friends, Happy Endings, Luther, Sherlock, Parks and Rec...this list will get too long...

Yes.

28. What did you want and get? A chance to leave my cubicle.
29. What did you want and not get? Peace.

31. What did you do on your birthday?
Went to work, then got pizza and beer while watching "When Harry Met Sally" in my half packed apartment.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? A steady job I liked.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2014? Jeans and a t-shirt or sweats.
34. What kept you sane?
My family and being outside all summer.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you like the most? Jimmy Fallon?
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Serial.
37. Who did you miss? My best friend.
38. Who was the best new person you met? Diana, a fellow coach.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2014. Not to trust people too soon. That sometimes taking risks can be worth it. That how you recover from breaking will determine what kind of person you will be.
