5 weeks

5 weeks.

That is all that is left in my last spring semester ever. 5 weeks till I get my first summer without any classes. 5 weeks that I can actually be home most evenings because I have finished my internship agreement for this semester. 1 week till I turn 21. Par. Tay.

Although there are only 5 weeks left until freedom, they are going to be very hard to complete. Seriously. Colorado has flipped upside down. We hardly got ANY snow this winter and in March, we've had continual days with highs in the upper 70s. It's absurd.

Last weekend was when this madness really occurred. Although it went against my rules because it was still before May, I couldn't help but break out my chacos...my Cinderella slippers. They were just as wonderful as I had remembered them...and I was very grateful for the pedicure my mother had paid for the week before. :)

I went up to Fort Collins for the weekend to spend time with Man-Cub and his family. It was his mom's birthday so his parents treated all of us to some dinner and the Hunger Games on Friday night.

Saturday morning I learned, again, just how much Chill really loves me. I was just standing doing my make-up and she fell asleep, using my head as her pillow. Can't wait till I can get my own puppy!

We went out to meet Man-Cub's family for brunch on Saturday morning and then we went to tour a condo for Man-Cub's little sister who will be moving out of the dorms next year! Man-Cub and I got to drive his little brother around town and he kept complaining about how hot it was, so he stuck his out the window and I couldn't resist snapping a picture!

Good family times. We also went to get some refreshing drinks and Man-Cub and I split one of the best strawberry-lemonades I've ever had! Seriously starting to feel like summer...

On Sunday, we couldn't just sit inside and do homework when the weather was still so lovely. So Man-Cub and I went mini golfing with his roommate. Fun times at Fort Fun! (As Man-Cub's shirt so accurately displays. ha!)

Then I came home and got a cold. Thanks for nothing fresh air. So this weekend Man-Cub came to see me. Saturday morning I made the cutest little breakfast cups I've ever seen! And they were delicious!

It was even nicer this weekend with highs in the mid 80s so we went and threw some Frisbee golf discs around before putting dinner in the crock-pot and going to see 21-Jumpstreet. (Which was actually really funny and was way less dirty than expected.) One of my friends brought her man over for dinner and they visited with us for a few hours. It was lovely! At least with all the fresh air making the summer itch even worse, we have friends to share good times with.

And this Tuesday is the fun. concert!!! Only a few big projects left between me and sweet, sweet summer.
