Last night, Man-Cub and I ventured out to a new brewery we didn't know about here in Colorado Springs. We found it because of my old swim team coach!
I haven't seen him in about 5 years, and when I turned 21, it was a great excuse to meet up again. I'm not a huge fan of beer, but I'm learning to enjoy it now! The major setback is that I don't know any of the terminology so can hardly order because I don't know what I like. I knew my coach takes his beer seriously, and he even brews his own, so it was the perfect excuse to meet up again!
We chatted for almost two hours over our beer sampler and it was great catch-up time. Man-Cub was afraid it would all be about swimming chatter, but he actually enjoyed his time and my coach did a great job of pulling him into conversation. It was great fun and we hope to meet up with him again! Hopefully next time I'll remember to take a picture...
Now off to begin all the wedding festivities for my roommate this weekend!
